Each university is expected to manage research that meets the standards as described in Permenristekdikti Number 44 of 2015 concerning National Standards for Higher Education, particularly in relation to the scope and explanation of National Research Standards. Universitas Trisakti’s Research Institute is tasked with formulating research technical policies and evaluating the implementation of research within the scope of the University and carrying out multidisciplinary research activities that are internally funded and external funding alike. The management of research activities needs to be carried out in a professional and standardized manner so that research can be implemented properly and provide optimal benefits for teaching and community service activities. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to compile a Research Guidebook that can be a reference for related parties: researchers, assessors or reviewers, and funding agencies, in the context of carrying out the whole research cycle, from the preparation of proposals up to publications and innovative product development. It is expected that the 2020’s Universitas Trisakti Research Guidelines can provide a complete and comprehensive vision of the three pillars of Higher Education. In addition to technical matters, this new edition of the guidebook also contains several basic policies and other more detailed provisions. Some of them refer to other documents, such as the Research Master Plan, National Research Priorities, and the National Research Master Plan 2017 to 2045. This Research Guidebook is an integral part of Universitas Trisakti’s Strategic Plan 2020 to 2030, Research Master Plan 2020 – 2030, 2018 Research Code of Ethics, Operational Guidelines for Credit Score Assessment and Universitas Trisakti Awarding Guidelines.
