The Center for Criminal Law Studies, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, held a National Seminar on Law Enforcement against Terrorism and the Funding for Terrorism During the COVID-19 Pandemic, on Saturday, 13 February 2021, 13.00 – 16.00 WIB online through the Zoom Conference Meeting platform.
The seminar was attended by the Chiefs of the Faculty of Law, and attended by 380 participants, consisting of law practitioners, lecturers, and students from various universities in Indonesia. The seminar aimed to discuss various themes related to the law enforcement of criminal acts of terrorism and funding of terrorism during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
The seminar began with a speech as well as opening remarks by the Dean of Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, Dr. H. I Komang Suka’arsana, SH, MH, followed by presentations by experts, namely:
- Heru Susetyo, SH, LL.M., M.Sc., Ph.D. with the topic War Against Terrorism During the Pandemic
- Commissioner General. Pol. (Purn) Drs. Suhardi Alius, MH. with the topic Development of Terrorism and Funding of Terrorism During the COVID-19 Pandemic
- Dr. Yenti Garnasih, SH, MH, with the topic Law Enforcement against Terrorism Crime and Terrorism Funding During the COVID-19 Pandemic.
with Moderator Dr. Vience Ratna Multi Wijaya, SH, MH (Head of the Criminal Law Department of the Faculty of Law UNIVERSITAS TRISAKTI).
Hopefully, through this seminar, there will be recommendations to be disseminated for the public, government, academics, and law enforcement officers regarding the law enforcement of terrorism criminal acts and funding of terrorism during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
