Chairs of the Student Association of the Department of Planning Engineering, Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Technology (BPHMJPL FALTL) at Universitas Trisakti held a public Webinar with the theme “Healthy Cities Post COVID-19 Pandemic: Implementation of a New Normal” on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 09.30 – 12.25 WIB. The webinar aims at being a forum for discussion regarding the disciplines of Regional and City Planning with the presentation of introductory material by one of the FALTL Planning Engineering students as well as core material from experts, which was closed with a question-answer session. The event was opened with remarks by Dr. Melati Ferianita Fachrul, M.S. as the Dean of FALTL, who conveyed a message about the importance of synergy from various sectors regarding what must be considered in this New Normal era and the importance of awareness from the community, starting from the students.

The first presentation was delivered by Gita Safitri, a 2018 Planning Engineering Student, followed by the second presentation by Ir. Nirwono Joga, MLA, City Planning Observer, titled “Sustainable Healthy City Structures in the New Normal Order” and “Post-Pandemic City Rehabilitation”, respectively. Dr. Drs. Yayat Supriatna, MSP, who is also City Planning Observer, delivered the presentation of the third material related to Government Policy Concerning the New Normal Order and Community Participation in the Implementation of the Healthy City Concept.

Hopefully, this Webinar can bring more insight and become a lesson for all of us in ways to minimize the impact of the pandemic and create healthy cities.
