Scopus-indexed Indonesian journals

SCOPUS is currently the largest journal indexing service and database provider. It operates under the auspices of Elsevier, an international scientific publishing organization or company founded in 1880 and currently based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Currently, SCOPUS has indexed more than 22,000 journal titles from over 5,000 publishers. Approximately 20,000 of the indexed articles are peer-reviewed. In addition to SCOPUS, there are several other journal indexing services. Indonesian journals indexed by SCOPUS are often considered to be of high quality and to possess an international reputation.

The Indonesian Journal of Urban and Environmental Technology (urbanenvirotech)—abbreviated as indones.j.urban.environ.technol.—is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Technology, Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with the Indonesian Society of Sanitary and Environmental Engineers (IATPI).

The scope of this journal encompasses Urban Environmental Management and Environmental Technology. It serves as an ideal academic platform for connecting researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners who share an interest in the field of environmental management. The journal is consistently published twice a year (in April and October) and is indexed in SCOPUS, SINTA , Google Scholar , ISSN , BASE ,ROAD , Dimensions , and Garuda . It utilizes Turnitin to detect potential plagiarism in manuscripts.

Prior to Volume 6, the two issues within a single volume were published in different years. For instance, the first issue of Volume 4 was published in October 2021, while the second issue was published in April 2022. However, starting with Volume 6, the two issues will be published within the same year. Consequently, a minor adjustment was made by publishing an additional issue (Volume 5, Issue 3) in October 2022.
