Universitas Trisakti has been designated by LLDIKTI III as the supervising higher education institution for the 2024 Smart Village Community Service (PKM) program in Cianjur Regency, West Java.

Alongside other higher education institutions—namely Bina Nusantara, Universitas Nasional, Universitas Mercu Buana, ITP Trisakti, Universitas Budi Luhur, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika, and Universitas Kristen Indonesia—Universitas Trisakti has been entrusted as a Coordinating (Mentoring) University for 60 other private higher education institutions (PTS) under LLDIKTI III, involving a minimum of three lecturers and five students from each respective institution.
The Smart Village Community Service (PKM) program runs from April to December 2024. LLDIKTI III has designated four villages in Cianjur Regency as locations for the Smart Village PKM: Ciputri Village (Pacet District), Ciherang Village (Pacet District), Jamali Village (Mande District), and Kademangan Village (Mande District).
Each village initiative encompasses six Smart Village pillars: smart mobility, smart economy, smart living, smart governance, smart environment, and smart people.
Each village and Smart Village pillar is led by a Coordinating University and involves several participating higher education institutions. The duties of the Coordinating University include preparing proposals; leading and managing the PKM team to ensure the program runs smoothly and achieves its intended goals; leading, monitoring, and evaluating program implementation; coordinating with relevant stakeholders; and conducting program evaluations based on monitoring results, as well as compiling reports on implementation outcomes and deliverables.
Universitas Trisakti is responsible for two pillars—Smart Village (Lead: Ir. Wawan Kurniawan, MT, IPM) and Smart Environment (Lead: Ratna Mira Yojana, ST, MT)—in Kademangan Village, Mande District, Cianjur Regency, West Java.
The activities under Universitas Trisakti’s responsibility were carried out on October 23–24, 2024, while the monitoring and evaluation phase took place on November 24, 2024, involving five Industrial Engineering students: Muhammad Rafie Aliazri, Andini Octavia Nugroho, Elistriani, Aliffia Puri Indraswari, and Inas Farihah.
/p>The number of partners (beneficiaries) includes 20 MSMEs for the Smart Economy Team and 40 PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) cadres for the Smart Environment Team, all from Kademangan Village, Mande District, Cianjur Regency, West Java.
We are grateful that Trisakti University has received appreciation from LLDIKTI III as the pioneering university and driving force behind this Smart Village PKM (Community Service) initiative. The next stage involves preparing an activity report to be presented to LLDIKTI III, along with the project outputs, in December 2024.
