The Usakti LPPM Business Incubator Center held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to draft technical guidelines for the “Next Level Entrepreneurship MBKM Incubation Program,” focusing on the theme “Increasing Venture Capital Acquisition.” Held from Tuesday, October 31, to Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the ASTON Kartika Grogol Hotel & Conference Center, this was the second FGD conducted under the 2023 *Kampus Merdeka* Competition Program (PK-KM). The first FGD took place a month earlier, addressing the theme of increasing and ensuring equitable participation in the Next Level Entrepreneurship MBKM Incubation Program.
The objective of this FGD was to establish technical guidelines for the program—specifically regarding venture capital acquisition—enabling startups to grow through funding allocated for prototype development, increased production capacity, legal compliance, and promotion. Twelve entrepreneurship mentors and lecturers representing various study programs at Universitas Trisakti participated in the event, alongside three resource persons: Ifran Fadlurrahman (Investment Senior Associate at Mandiri Capital Indonesia), Agung Wibowo (CEO and Founder of FundEx.id), and Norico Gaman (Partner/Director at PT EurAsia Kapital Investindo).

Ramadhani Yanidar, MT, who delivered opening remarks and guidance—followed by an opening prayer led by Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, M.T., and remarks from the Director of LPPM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, M.T., IPM. The first day’s agenda consisted of presentations and discussions with the resource persons. The first presentation was delivered by Ifran Fadlurrahman, moderated by Imam Kisowo, S.T., M.M. This session provided a comprehensive overview of the venture capital funding landscape, detailed insights into venture capital and its operations, startup valuation methods (calculating and understanding startup value), and essential funding-related documentation.
