LPPM Trisakti University on February 8 to 16, 2023 held a Research and PKM Training event for New Permanent Lecturers both offline and online. The event was opened by the Rector of Trisakti University Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, on the occasion he stated that it is expected that in the next 5 – 10 years Trisakti University will be able to obtain around 50 new professors from the participants of this training. In addition, quoting the participant profile data submitted by the Director of LPPM in the opening session, the Rector is optimistic that the participants will become agents of change for Usakti further development and will become a locomotive that will bring other fellow lecturers in the same direction.

The training program was attended by 63 new permanent lecturers from various faculties and was divided into 2 sessions, namely the Community Service (PkM) session and the Research session. In the PkM session, 7 presentation materials were presented, including:

• Material 1: Principles of Sustainable Community Service Implementation, National Standards for Community Service, and Introduction to SIMPPM in the field of Community Service. Presenters: Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, MT.
• Material 2: Community and Regional Development Program. Presenter: Dr. Ida Busnetty, MM.
• Material 3: Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship Program. Presenter: Emelia Sari, ST, MT, Ph.D.
• Material 4: Tips and Tricks for Drafting Community Service Grant Proposals. Presenter: Prof. Dr. Wegig Murwonugroho, MHum
• Material 5: Applied Technology Science Independent Business Lecture Program (KUM-ITT). Presenter: Ir. Wawan Kurniawan, M.T., IPM
• Material 6: Compiling internal PKM Reports and PKM Scientific Articles. Presenters: Dr. drg. Ciptadhi Tri Oka B. M.Kes.
• Material 7: PKM and Research Outputs (Copyright, Module, Pocket Book). Presenter: Dra. Mustamina Maulani, MT.

In the Research session, 8 presentation materials were presented, including the following:

• Material 1: Integration of the Tridharma of Higher Education, Research / PKM Performance for Academic Positions. Presenters: Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, S.Si., MT.
• Material 2: National Research Standards, Introduction to SIMPPM in the field of Research, Guidelines and Guidelines. Presenter: Dr. Winnie Septiani, ST, MSi, IPM.
• Material 3: Usakti Funding Research Grant Scheme and outside Usakti. Presenter: Dr. Ir. Nurhikmah Budi Hartanti, MT.
• Material 4: Publication of Scientific Work. Presenter: Dr. Ir. Rini Setiati, MT.
• Material 5: Books and Book Grants. Presenter: Dra. Suliestyah, M.Si.
• Material 6: World Class Professor. Presenters: Prof. Fenny Martha Dwivany, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.
• Material 7: IPR – Industrial Design. Presenter: Dr. Rosyida Permatasari, MT.
• Material 9: IPR – Patent. Presenter: Dr. Erni Erfan, M.Biomed.

Each session begins with a Pre-test and concludes with a Post-test. In the research session, Independent Assignment 1 and Independent Assignment 2 are given to the participants.
