The role of the IPR Center at the university is to support the implementation of the three pillars of Higher Education through IPR-oriented research and student creativity program (PKM)-based activities, to increase institutional cooperation, and to facilitate the management of IPR for both the academic community and the wider society in general.
Functions of the IPR Center
- To encourage research and development programs, especially those that are IPR-oriented
- To carry out inventory and campaign of IPR to the academic community and the wider society
- To provide information regarding the results of research and development, within the context of IPR
- To assist the academic community in the process of obtaining IPRs
- To spur efforts to commercialize IPR products
- To implement technology transfer programs on the basis of existing intellectual property
